Safety Management Minor

(26 credits)

A course of study in the management, evaluation, and control of safety and health hazards associated with the workplace environment.

Safety Management Core Courses:

SFTY 212 - Introduction to Industrial Health and Safety 3 Credits
SFTY 314 - Industrial Health and Safety Legislation 3 Credits
SFTY 318 - Industrial Accident Prevention I 3 Credits
SFTY 319 - Industrial Accident Prevention II 3 Credits

Physics Course:

PHYS 105 - General Physics I 3 Credits
PHYS 105L - General Physics I Laboratory 1 Credits

Mathematics Course:

Take one of the following math courses. Other higher level math may fulfll requirement with approval of department.
