The biology minor introduces students in the fundamental concepts and laboratory techniques of the biological sciences across a wide range of areas of emphasis; these, in turn, allow students to pursue a wide range of careers. Biology majors also receive practical training in field and laboratory biology, which also prepares them for academic, industrial, and governmental careers.
Students will take one of the courses below as well as the corresponding laboratory course that satisfies prerequisites for the required Biology courses:
This minor is for non-science majors only. Biology Majors, Chemistry majors, and Pre-Health Professions Majors cannot take the Biology Minor for Non-Science Majors.
