BIO 210 - Fundamentals of Molecular Biology

Description
Students will gain knowledge of nucleic acid structure and function, protein structure and function, molecular genetics, mutagenesis, the biochemistry of DNA replication, recombination and repair, RNA transcription, splicing and processing, and protein synthesis. Working from this foundation, students will explore mechanisms of gene regulation in prokaryotes and eukaryotes.
