SOWK 498 - Field Practice & Seminar I

Description
This course is a continuation of field practicum and beginning generalist social work practice in local social welfare agencies. The course requires a minimum of 175 agency hours for the semester and includes a weekly field integration seminar; it meets the Foundational Studies Program’s High Impact Practice requirement.

Prerequisites
The student must have successfully completed SOWK 480 with C or above.

Co-requisites
Concurrent enrollment in SOWK 490.

This course is open to social work majors only.
