MUS 260 - Basic Scoring

Description
An introduction to the analysis of choral, orchestral, and band scores; the study and reading of clefs and transpositions of instruments, the ranges and limitations of instruments; the scoring of short excerpts; and rudimentary score realization at the keyboard.

MUS 112; 114.
