ECT 437 - Senior Project 1: Project Management 3 Credits
Description This course develops a foundation of concepts and solutions that supports the planning, scheduling, controlling, resource allocation, and performance measurement activities required for successful completion of a project. The course is an intensive project documentation/research course that requires the technological skills to research and plan an outcome for a suggested topic of community or global concern. The course topics include a review of project management careers, understanding the role of project leader and team, demonstrating how to define, plan, execute, each activity, and formulate a project proposal. The documentation format and process, and how to document the required proposal specifications are vital components of the course.
Prerequisites Senior standing or consent of instructor.
