Reading Minor

The reading minor for State Licensure may be added to elementary and secondary education programs to meet Indiana licensing guidelines.

Required courses:

ELED 324 - Emergent Literacy 3 credits
ELED 397 - Teaching Developmental Reading and Other Language Arts 3 credits
ELED 398 - Corrective Reading in the Classroom 3 credits
ELED 485 - Literacy Intervention Strategies 3 credits
3 credits in an approved literature course; and 3 credits in an approved linguistics course.
