SS 305 - Teaching Social Studies in Secondary Schools

Description
Curriculum issues, methods, techniques, and goals of secondary social studies; unit organization; instructional technologies; classroom management; and testing and evaluation. This course, in conjunction with earned credit in 306, fulfills the GE2000 capstone requirement for social studies education majors.

Prerequisites
at least 78 credits and seven of nine required Liberal Studies Courses. See the General Education section of the Catalog for a complete description of the capstone requirement.
