Learning Outcomes  

The degree program in mathematics provides students with a thorough and strong knowledge of basic theoretical mathematics, and initial training in applied areas such as statistics, analysis, combinatorics, and actuarial science. 

Note:


*For the mathematics major at least 18 credits of mathematics courses must be taken at Indiana State University. Only in the most exceptional cases will partial exemptions from this requirement be granted.
