Student Outcomes
The University offers a bachelor of science (B.S.) in automation and control engineering technology that provides the knowledge and management skills needed to pursue technical and supervisory roles in manufacturing operations.
Coursework includes study in the following areas:
- Electronics and computer technology, including programmable logic controllers, and robotic controls
- Manufacturing technology, including computer numerical control systems, manufacturing processes, and materials science
- Mechanical engineering technology, including CAD, fluid power, solid modeling, and machining
- Technology project management, including team-based organization and development
- Physical science, mathematics, and computer science
