Professional and Public Writing Minor

(15-18 credits)

The Professional and Public Writing Minor is a 15-credit hour credential open to all ISU undergraduate students. The minor provides students with training and experience in professional and community-based public writing in preparation for their professional careers and civic responsibilities.

ENG 305T - Technical Writing 3 Credits
Or
ENG 307 - Writing for Teachers of English 3 Credits
ENG 313 - New Media Writing 3 Credits
ENG 314 - Introduction to Writing Studies 3 Credits
ENG 405 - Professional Writing and Community Engagement 3 Credits
Or
ENG 485 - Literary Citizenship and Publishing 3 Credits
And
Completion of one of the following: ENG 105 , ENG 107 , ENG 108 , GH 101 & GH 201 or equivalent 3-6 credit hours
