The Premedical program helps students fulfill the necessary coursework for medical school or career in healthcare in the context of their chosen major.

Degree Map Physics Ready

This program has the following minimum GPA requirements: 2.00 overall GPA.

Pre-Medicine students plan to apply to medical school after completing prerequisite courses. The pre-professional advisor helps students develop a strategy for completing prerequisites, identify an appropriate departmental major, and navigate the application process. Students select a major field of study (degree program) during their second or third semester of study. A faculty advisor is then assigned to help students develop a plan to meet Indiana State University’s degree requirements for that major.
