Political Science Major

Political Science Core Requirements (18 hours):

• PSCI 201 - American Government 3 hours.
• PSCI 245 - Political Inquiry 3 hours.
• PSCI 280 - Introduction to Comparative Politics 3 hours.

• (483, 488, or 490 may be substituted for 280 with the consent of the Department Chairperson)

• PSCI 319 - Survey of Western Political Thought 3 hours.
• PSCI 330 - Introduction to Public Administration 3 hours.
• PSCI 370 - International Politics 3 hours.

• (460 may be substituted for 370 with the consent of the Department Chairperson)

Political Science Electives (12 hours):

With at least 9 hours at the 400 level (exclusive of 495, 497, and 498).

Capstone Course:

(must be completed with a grade of C or better)

• PSCI 499 - Senior Seminar in Political Science 3 hours.
