Students pursuing the science education major should become thoroughly familiar with the requirements for admission to the Teacher Education Program. Either the major or minor area below may be taken as one component of the science education major. All students of this major must complete one major area and one minor area, each from a different discipline (life sciences, physical sciences, earth space sciences, chemistry, physical science, and physics). Prerequisite courses can be taken either as electives or as part of the University’s General Education Program.
