ELAF 200 - Education and Community 3 hours.
Description An introduction to the analysis of the ideas and values which structure educational systems. Issues are examined from historical, social, and philosophical perspectives that reveal basic organizing forces at work in a community. Emphasis is placed on skills that promote development of critical, responsible positions towards educational issues and alternatives for today and the future.
