ANTH 420 - Archaeology of Eastern North America 3 hours.
Description An in-depth study of prehistoric cultures of the Eastern Woodlands, from Paleoindian through Mississipian periods. Considers the interaction of climate change, subsistence, settlement, and socio-political organization as reflected in the archaeological record.
Note Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
