Description
The role of digital image processing in remote sensing. Major focus is the implementation of parametric and non-parametric approaches to classification of multispectral data acquired from satellites and aircraft for the purpose of developing information about the Earth.

Prerequisite/Corequisite
Prerequisite: one course in remote sensing.

Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
