ARTS 255 - Sculpture-Wood/Studio Furniture I

Description
An introduction to three-dimensional form, space, and content. Care and function of hand tools, machinery, and basic woodworking techniques, with emphasis on woods, adhesives, fabrication, and design of furniture and sculpture. Individualized projects stressed.

Prerequisite/Corequisite
Prerequisites: 101, 102, and 104; or consent of instructor.

Note
Two studio contact hours are required for every credit hour.
