SPED 652 - Programs and Services for Individuals with Visual Impairments

Introduction to educational programs and services for students with visual impairments including a description of the history of the field of blindness. Emphasis is on the developmental characteristics of learners and their psychological needs as well as an overview of rules, regulations, and procedures for the field. Collaboration with families as well as educational personnel within diverse cultural setting will be studied.
