MUS 518 - Music in Special Education

Philosophy, objectives, materials, and methods for teaching music to special children, including a study of the characteristics and educational problems of these students. Particular attention is given to the social and ethical responsibilites of diverse learners in the educational environment. Supervised practical experiences in the classroom.

MUS 201 or the equivalent.
