ECON 694 - Topics in Teaching Economics

3 credits

This course is designed to help teachers of grades K-12 incorporate economics into their classrooms by providing them with an understanding of the basic economic concepts relating to selected topics. Participants will gain a broad view of methods that can be used to present relevant economic concepts to students of all ages. Participants will also learn of available teaching materials and receive assistance with curriculum development for more effective classroom teaching of economic concepts.
