Choose one of the following:
Electives:
- 21 credits of directed electives from geology or from allied scientific disciplines that focus on topics in environmental sciences, geochemistry, geoarchaeology, geosciences, paleoecology, paleoclimatology, geobiology, and evolution (to be determined in consulation with the student’s advisor.)
Culminating Experience:
- Presentation of research results at a departmental seminar or regional/national conference, or successfully passing the National Association of State Boards of Geology Examination.
Note:
As required by the College of Graduate and Professional Studies, at least 17 credit hours must be earned in courses numbered 600 or above. |
