Required Courses (15 hours):

• HIST 650 - Historical Method and Theory 3 credits

Other Courses (18 hours):

A combination of electives approved by the student’s advisor. Students electing Option II must take at least one 600-level elective to meet School of Graduate Studies degree requirements for graduation.

Culminating Experience:

Successful completion of final written and oral examinations pertaining to the student’s course work and research seminar paper.

Note:

One-half of the credit hours (17 or more) must be in courses numbered 600 or above.
