Computer Education License and Educational Technology Facilitation

This program will provide a computer education license to any Indiana licensed teacher holdinga current high school license. Individuals interested in adding this license should consult with an advisor from one of the following departments: Curriculum, Instruction, and Media Technology or Elementary, Early, and Special Education. The addition of this license may be completed only at the graduate level.

Prerequisites:

Candidates must have completed a teacher preparation program since 2000; successfully completed Curriculum, Instruction, and Media Technology 447/547—3 hrs. or its equivalent; passed a performance examination, or prepare a digital portfolio that shows candidate fulfillment of the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers.

ELED 671 - Examination, Utilization, and Evaluation of Educational Microcomputer Software 3 credits
ELED 672 - Microcomputer Practicum for Classroom Teachers 3 credits
