The MSW Program at Indiana State University is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and has a focus on clinical rural social work practice. The Advanced Standing Program enables students who have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) from an CSWE accredited program may be given credit by credential for the first 23 hours of the MSW program (foundational courses) A ‘B’ grade or better is required in the following courses: SOWK 605, SOWK 610, and SOWK 615. A ‘C’ grade or better is required in all other required courses. Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
