Coaching Minor

(19 credits)

The objective of the minor in coaching is to provide an opportunity for undergraduate students to further develop their knowledge and understanding in the area of coaching.

Required courses (17 credits):

PE 218 - Aerobic and Anaerobic Training Methods 2 credits
PE 219 - Resistance Training Methods 2 credits
PE 366 - Human Motor Learning 3 credits
PE 401 - Principles and Problems of Coaching 3 credits
PE 402 - Practicum in Coaching 1 credits
PE 404 - Scientific Aspects of Physical Education and Coaching 3 credits
PE 466 - Social Behavioral Aspects of Physical Education 3 credits

Electives (2 credits):
