Healthcare analytics is the healthcare analysis activities that can be undertaken as a result of data collection from claims and cost data, pharmaceutical and research and development data, clinical data, and patient behavior and sentiment data. This certificate will help student gain knowledge in transforming data into useful information to solve real-life healthcare problems.
Select Two Courses from the Following Electives (6 credits)
Students with healthcare background are encouraged to select their elective courses from the list of business courses, whereas students without healthcare background are encouraged to select their elective courses from the list of health science courses. Other courses that directly involve the study of medical, life sciences, or healthcare issues that are approved by the MISBE Department in the Scott College of Business.
