Language Specialist Honors Certificate

This certificate is available for students in the Language Studies program.

Certificate Requirements:
Students earning the bachelor of arts in language studies may receive the Language Specialist Honors Certificate by fulfilling the following two requirements: 1.
Successful completion of an appropriate study abroad experience of at least five weeks in duration or equivalent approved experience. 2.
Maintenance of a minimum grade point average of 3.5 in all departmental course work or completion of a nationally-recognized language examination in the primary area (e.g. one of those administered by the Goethe Institute in German or the American Association of Teachers of Spanish in Spanish) with a level of performance to be specified by the department. |
