The chemistry program offers students the opportunity to explore chemistry both in terms of theoretical principles and experimental practices. The program features hands-on use of instrumentation as well as the rigorous application of computer-based data acquisition and analysis methods. The department supports an undergraduate research program that typically engages about 15 students each summer.

 The following courses must be taken at Indiana State University: - CHEM 405 - Senior Seminar in Chemistry 1 credits
