Nonprofit Leadership Minor

(24-31 credits)

The Nonprofit Leadership minor helps prepare future leaders of the nonprofit sector. Nonprofit organizations are a highly diverse sector addressing issues and needs related to health services, education, social and legal services, civic and environmental advocacy, international relations and development, arts and culture, faith-based, and youth and human services.

All nonprofit internships must be in a nonprofit organization for a minimum of 300 contact hours and count for a minimum of 3 credit hours via ISU. A minimum of five nonprofit leadership competencies must be significantly addressed through pre-determined internship goals and objectives. The following internship credits may qualify for nonprofit leadership internship credit:
