Health Services Major

The mission of the Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Services is to provide professionals from health and related fields the opportunity to gain added expertise needed for self-enrichment and to expand their professional roles in the health care system.

To be admitted into the program, applicants must have earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or Associate of Science (AS) degree from an accredited institution. Students completing the Health Services major must earn a minimum of a “C” grade in all required major courses. All students must maintain a 2.5 grade point average in both the major courses and in their overall grade point average to graduate.

The BAS in Health Services major is specifically designed for health professionals with an associate of applied science or associate of science degree who are interested in furthering their career in leadership in their applied health field.
