(65 credits)
The information technology major requires a core curriculum of 65 hours of course work in computer science, electronics and computer technology, and management information systems. Students are encouraged to complete a minor in a related field to further build on the foundation established by the required coursework. The minor is however not a requirement for graduation. For descriptions of the information technology major courses, consult the appropriate department or program sections in this Catalog.
Graduates in Information Technology will be prepared for entry-level positions in networking, database development and administration, web programming and development, applications development, digital communication, and digital multimedia.
