AHS 602 - Foundational Principles of Public Health

This course introduces the major concepts and principles of public health and determinants of health status in communities. Emphasizes the ecological model that focuses on relationships among multiple natural and social determinants affecting health. Students will develop tools to examine issues and create solutions through a public health lens.
