APN 613 - Theoretical Frameworks for Advanced Psychiatric Nursing Practice3 Credits This foundational course introduces theoretical frameworks that will be applied to develop appreciation for the importance of theory and how it is applied in advanced psychiatric mental health nursing practice. Theories explaining personality development, human behavior, psychopathology, and mechanisms of therapeutic change associated with major schools of psychotherapy are examined.
