EDUC 601 - Transition to Teaching Student Teaching3.0 Credits
EDUC 601 is the culminating experience preceding professional teacher certification. This course meets the student teaching requirements for a Transition to Teaching Program. Candidates will complete a teacher work sample, to apply knowledge and skills within and across the fundamental ways of knowing.
Prerequisites In order to be enrolled in this course, you must have grades of B or higher in all required professional education courses (ELED 580, ELED 682, ELED 654, ELED 532, CIMT 650, EDUC 660 and EDUC 611) and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the graduate courses. Candidates are expected to be registered in EDUC 601 for the last semester of the Transition to Teaching program.
