HIST 600 - Historical Research and Methods3 Credits The course focuses primarily on the skills needed to conduct historical research with some discussion of the theoretical bases for the study of history. Students will learn how to use databases, analyze historical documents, evaluate articles and monographs, and write book reviews and historiographical analysis. They will study the “history of history” by reading foundational texts in the field.
Restrictions Must take during first or second semester in the program.
