SOWK 600 - Psychopathology in Social Work3 Credits
An in-depth exposure to differential assessment and intervention. Students learn to conduct sophisticated mental status, addiction, and lethality risk interviews and apply the DSM and other classification schemes. Students gain an understanding of the application of assessment instruments and learn to evaluate their relevance for service to at-risk populations.
Prerequisites
SOWK 506, 507 or Advanced Standing Admission to the Program.
Co-requisites
SOWK 603.
