SOWK 554 - Palliative & End of Life Care (Interdisciplinary)

Interdisciplinary course for graduate students from various health care professions to enhance interdisciplinary learning and rural practice. Topics include attitudes toward death and dying, palliative care and hospice models, pain and symptom management, addiction concerns, grief and bereavement, spirituality and social, economic and legal issues at the end of life.

Prerequisites
Admitted to the College of Graduate & Professional Studies or consent of the instructor.
