SOC 521 - Sociology of Aging and Retirement

The sociological analysis of aging in modern society, the attitudes and values which surround the process, the social definitions which make aging a personal and social problem, and cross-cultural comparisons of the aging experience.

Prerequisites
6 hours of sociology or consent of instructor.
