EDLR 608 - School and Society

Education in relation to the school as a social institution which focuses on the family and the school, peer groups and the school, and the school as a social system within the local, state, and national society. Special attention is given to ethnic minority groups and their impact on contribution to the school community as well as educators as leaders within their schools and the school community.
