ECT 537 - Project Management for Industrial Computer Systems Management3 Credits The implementation of projects in an industrial environment requires the planning of how adoption of computing systems will occur. The effect of management decisions on industrial computer applications and operations needs to be understood adequately before projects can be implemented. The economics of these decisions determines whether the computing platform will be an open and closed system, software versus hardware implementation, in-house versus contract maintenance, and or multi-vendor versus a single vender provider.
Note Graduate students must do related investigation and prepare a report at a level beyond the routine detail of the course. When Offered Every Fall
