ENGR 241 - Data Acquisition and Instrumentation 3 credits
Description This course will cover the fundamentals of data acquisition systems, how they enable users to sample signals that measure real physical conditions and convert the resulting samples into digital, numeric values that can be analyzed by a computer. Topics include sensor types, signal conditioning, analog-to-digital converters, filtering & amplification, and basic data processing.
