Description
The social psychological examination of sport as a social institution in society. Analysis of sport in the context of life cycle, social class, and community and collective behavior, and of sport and play in cross-societal context.

Prerequisites
SOC 101 plus junior/senior class standing.

Note
Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
