SOC 424 - Sociology of Mental Health and Illness 3 credits
Description The study of sociological models of mental health/illness, with emphasis upon the analysis of relationships between mental health/illness and sociological variables, the social organization of mental health care systems, and social policy.
Prerequisites SOC 101 plus junior/senior class standing.
Note Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
