MUS 449 - Pedagogy of Theory 3 credits
Description
A survey of the pedagogical aspects of teaching music theory and aural skills. The focus is on current approaches and implementation of materials suitable for the study of theory, harmony, and aural skills.
Prerequisites MUS 212 and 214, or consent of instructor.
Note Required classroom observation and supervised teaching. Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
