MUS 445 - Analytical Techniques of Tonal Music 3 credits
Description
Detailed analyses of stylistic characteristics and compositional techniques found in works composed in the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic Eras. A variety of analytical approaches is employed, based on their suitability to particular works.
Prerequisites MUS 212 and 214, or consent of instructor.
Note Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
