BIO 476C - Clinical Chemistry 1-10 credits
Description Study of principles of biochemistry for clinical application; application of principles of chemical methods used to measure metabolic products; and lecture and laboratory study of instrumentation and quality assurance. Clinical and laboratory data are correlated with physiologic processes and disease states. Proficiency in the performance of routine and special clinical chemistry laboratory procedures is achieved during a supervised rotation in the clinical laboratory.
Prerequisites admission to the fourth (clinical) year of the Clinical Laboratory Science Program.
