AVT 211 - Aircraft Systems I

3 credits

Description
An introduction to the systems found on modern reciprocation and turbine powered aircraft. Topics covered will include: basic electricity, electrical systems and components, ignition systems, aircraft fuel systems, propellers, and reciprocating aircraft engines. This course is the first half of a two-semester sequence.

Prerequisites
AVT 140 or UMS 181, with a C grade or higher, or consent of instructor.
