Learning Outcomes
The Social Work program prepares students to work with a variety of people in settings like public welfare agencies, correctional facilities, health organizations, schools, research institutions, and other community programs. Students will learn about counseling, managing human services, analyzing social welfare policy, facilitating community organization and development, supporting client advocacy, engaging in social and political research, and more.
Students will be admitted to the pre-social work program. Once they have met all requirements, students will be moved into the actual social work major.
Social Work students must get a C or better in social work courses.
