The Master of Education Degree in Teaching and Learning is designed primarily for individuals who have already completed coursework to obtain an initial educational license or addition to a license at the graduate level and wish to complete a master’s degree. The program consists of a 21-credit core and 9 credits of directed electives. Students who have completed non-degree licensure or certification programs may apply that coursework toward the M.Ed. degree as appropriate. Applicants who wish to earn the degree without pursuing initial or additional educational licenses will complete the 21-credit core and work with the advisor to select an appropriate array of elective courses.
